Our Services
purchasing
I keep a small inventory of weapons and accessories on hand, but have many distributors I deal with. If you are looking for something specific, I can get it. Many customers choose to shop on the internet, find a good deal, and use my very inexpensive transfer fee. My standard transfer fee is $25, which is one of the lowest in the area. First responder, military member, Veteran, or LTC holder will receive a reduced transfer fee of $15.
selling
Occasionally people choose to upgrade or trade in weapons. Depending on the weapon, I can either consign it or purchase it outright. Understanding weapons value is market-driven I typically do a quick inspection of the weapon and market analysis to give sellers an honest, fair price. I can do transfers to other FFLs for the same transfer rate above, plus $35 for handguns and $55 for long guns. Long guns requiring packaging that exceeds 48” will incur additional fees.
nfa purchases
The National Firearms Act (NFA) prohibits the purchase of certain weapons unless certain criteria are met. NFA can be very complex and confusing, and I can help answer many questions that may come up. Many misconceptions exist concerning NFA, such as “ Can I own a Machine Gun?” When I purchase the item, the wait time is usually shorter from dealer to dealer. Transfer wait time can be up to 12 months, with 7 being average from dealer to buyer. Examples of NFA items include: Silencers, Short Barreled Rifles, Short Barreled Shotguns, Machine Guns, and any other weapon. If you have any questions, please contact me.
ltc classes
There are many courses out there, but few have a class and range on-site. Classes are typically 4-6 hours in length with additional time for the range portion. Classes are usually 6-8 people to allow for a better instructor-to-student ratio. They are held on Saturdays, and the total time is around 8 hours. The LTC process is fairly simple. Take the course, get your fingerprints from an approved DPS site, and pay your $40 fee to DPS. Most of the process is done online, with the fingerprints being done at IDentiGo Services. The license is good for 5 years with a $40 renewal fee. If interested in a future class
Lay-a-way
Lay-a-way is an option for individuals on a budget. It's a very simple process, starting with a form acknowledging the purchase of the firearm. The first payment will be when the form is signed and will be 50% of the purchase total. The second payment is 30 days later at 25%, with the final payment at the 60-day mark.
consignment
If I cannot purchase the weapon, I also have the consignment option. Sellers will fill out a form describing the condition and usage of the weapon. The weapon will then be released into my care, at which point I will list it, advertise it, and ultimately sell it. This option is for individuals who want a little more and have time to sell their weapon. Call for more details...
nfa transfers
NFA transfers are another way of saving money. Of the many NFA dealers in America, some may be liquidating their inventory or have a sale going on. This places the research and purchase on the buyer instead of me. This can be a great opportunity for someone looking at purchasing a NFA item on a tighter budget. For NFA transfers, the fee is $75 for initial and $50 for future transfers. Transfer wait time can be up to 12 months, with 7 being average from dealer to buyer. With this option, buyers should be aware that the wait time will be a little longer. The transfer will be from their Class 3 dealer to me, and then once I receive the paperwork and wait time, from me to the buyer.
